Your files stay on your device
ThePDFBuddy provides free PDF tools that run entirely in your web browser. Merging, splitting, rotating, compressing, watermarking, numbering pages, and converting images to PDF are all processed locally on your own computer or phone. We do not upload, store, transmit, or see your documents — there is no server-side processing of your files at all. Close the tab and nothing remains.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to serve ads that keep ThePDFBuddy free for everyone. Google uses cookies — including the DoubleClick advertising cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

What we don't collect
- We have no accounts, so we collect no usernames, passwords, or profiles.
- We never see, upload, or store the contents of your PDF files.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
Children
ThePDFBuddy is a general-utility tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
